Assalaamu alaikum Parents & Students,

We are excited to announce the Dr. Muzammil Siddiqi Legacy of Light Scholarship—a program dedicated to recognizing and rewarding outstanding students who embody the values of academic excellence, Islamic character, and community service.

Scholarships Available:

3 scholarships of $3,000 each will be awarded to:

  • 1 Elementary School Student
  • 1 Middle School Student
  • 1 High School Student
     

Application Deadline:

April 11, 2025
 

Scholarship Criteria:

For Middle & High School Students:

  • Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Demonstrates academic integrity and a positive attitude
  • Exhibits outstanding Islamic character
  • Must show volunteer/community service experience
  • Submit a 2-3 page essay on the assigned prompt


For Elementary School Students:

  • Demonstrates academic integrity and a positive attitude
  • Exhibits outstanding Islamic character
  • Submit a 1-page essay on the assigned prompt


Additional Requirements for Middle & High School Applicants:

       Submit 2 letters of recommendation:

  • 1 from a core subject teacher
  • 1 from a religious studies teacher or volunteer advisor
     

Finalist Interviews: Top finalists in each category will be invited for an interview to select the scholarship recipients.
