The Orange Crescent School (OCS) was established in 1983 by the Islamic Society of Orange County (ISOC) with the vision of providing a well-rounded academic education that integrates comprehensive Islamic Studies. Since its founding, OCS has remained committed to nurturing young minds in a supportive environment that blends academic rigor with strong Islamic values. As a non-profit, private institution, OCS serves the diverse Muslim community of Orange County, offering a robust Islamic education from toddler care through to eleventh grade.
Today, OCS stands as one of the largest and most respected Islamic schools in Orange County, proudly representing over 20 nationalities. We are honored to be one of the few Islamic schools accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), a mark of distinction that underscores the quality and integrity of our programs. This accreditation affirms our commitment to academic excellence, ensuring that our students receive a well-rounded education that is recognized both locally and nationally.
At OCS, we also collaborate with various state and federal institutions to provide our students, parents, and teachers with access to important educational resources, further enhancing the learning experience.
